Ready & Sorted helps UK households get ready for power cuts, storms and water outages, calmly and without the doom. We make a ready-to-go kit built around the public GOV.UK Prepare checklist, and we write plain-English guides that are useful whether or not you ever buy anything from us.
Being ready is common sense, not a lifestyle.

How we check facts
Every fact links to where it came from: GOV.UK, the NHS, Ofgem, the Food Standards Agency, the Met Office and the network operators. Each guide shows the date it was last checked, and we update a guide when the advice it’s based on changes.
Spotted something wrong? Email hello@readyandsorted.co.uk. We fix it, date the fix, and say what changed.

Ready & Sorted is run by Antonio Jacquaye in London, trading as Ready & Sorted. We’re not affiliated with the UK Government or the Prepare campaign; we just think its advice is good and should be easy to follow.
